Festival lounge and live radio in Niels Hemmingsens Gade
07/07
During Copenhagen Jazz Festival the area in front of Jazzhouse will be buzzing with activity and general festival fun – with bar, grill, info booth and good jazz DJs. Danish radio station P8 Jazz will also camp out in the area to transmit live from the festival.
On Friday, Copenhagen Jazz Festival kicks off. For ten days the festival will fill the city with more than a thousand high quality music concerts. The festival’s beating heart and natural meeting point is Niels Hemmingsens Gade – right in front of Jazzhouse.
During the entire festival the street will be turned into a car-free festival zone, which will serve both as an information area and as a social meeting place where you can buy beer, food and coffee. This is the ideal spot to drop by if you want an overview of the many things to do at the festival or if you need a small break from the live concerts. Also, it will be the perfect place for you and your friends to meet up before you go together to the next concert. If you haven’t already bought your tickets, you can buy them here everyday between 2-8 pm.
The area in front of Jazzhouse will be buzzing with activity and general festival fun. The grill will be lit, you can play different games and everyday between 2-8 pm, we present Secret Love, where strong jazz profiles will flip records and make the area vibrate as the festival’s beating heart.
Danish radio station P8 Jazz will also camp out in front of Jazzhouse in their purple camper van, from which they will report live during the ten-day period from 3-7 pm. Furthermore, the first hour of the Secret Love line-up’s exquisite DJ sets will be transmitted live everyday. See the Secret Love line-up here:
