Hans Ulrik has assembled a team of exceptional musicians who have played and toured together previously, so there’s good reason to expect the quartet will do A Love Supreme the justice it deserves.

John Coltrane’s epoch-making album A Love Supreme from 1964 set new standards for how jazz music could sound. The puritans shook their heads over the band’s quest for spiritual and musical freedom and the disassembly of prevailing forms and structures, but today there is no doubt that this record stands as a true icon in modern jazz history.
